It's the new year !! Been a while since I last updated my blog so here I am again .. fresh and new :)

Anyway, one of my new year wishes this year is to blog regularly (not so often la, maybe once a fortnight ..).. time passes so fast n suddenly I am out of my beyond my 30s already.

For those who followed my blog, last year's best wishes were met and I am happy to announce I am not single anymore. I also managed to go on an overseas trip to Phuket with a group of friends. It was a joyful and relaxing trip. :)

One of the wishes this year is to make 2 trips on a plane (local or overseas) and to save more money for the coming years. Hopefully, that can come true.

While recession is looming around the corner, people have been forewarned and foretold that it's going to be a tough year ahead. With so many companies announcing lower revenues as compared to last year, it is confident to say this ... save as much as you can ... spend wisely and only things you truly need.

Another resolution of mine is to make things happen. Hate to say this, but I have always delayed things till the 11th hour to finish my tasks last year. So, this year I am planning to zoom zoom about things and make sure they are accomplished on time and on budget (wishful thinking perhaps but I will do my best).

Last year was also a slow year for me in the sense I achieved slightly more than the previous year. I am learning a lot but the information hasn't gel together yet. Thus, this year I want to make more sense out of all the info I am getting. This year will also see me back in the fray with more learnings and certifications .. after the two loooong years studying MBA (graduated in 2006).

Of course .. there are more things to come and I will reveal more each blog I post till the end of the year. Until then, Happy New Year to all and may you be blessed with all things good and showered with all things merry :)

Honestly, the title for this topic was coined by a friend recently (after I announced myself getting wiser). But I thought it was appropriate to put it as the title for this post (and I was too lazy to think of one :P )

Anyway, this post chronicles the past 3 decades of my life. Don't worry, folks it's not going to be lengthy post coz I am about to go out and celebrate my Cow Day .. (aka Ngau Yat). Here goes ..


From the moment I was born in KL to the time I was in kindergarten, my parents and my aunt and cousins were all there to shower their care and love for me. I was quite naughty, thanks to the countless reminders from my parents and aunt (who was also my babysitter). According to legend, I was so naughty that when I wanted to sleep, I needed to be attended to by someone .. even while sleepng in the sarong !! I was also always reluctant to go back home after my parent's hard working day coz I preferred to stay at my aunt's. I guess that showed how stubborn and pampered I was :P




I am also fortunate to have very close uncles, aunts and cousins on both my dad and mom's side. All of them gave me terrific and fun memories for as long as I can remember.So, thank you to all of my family members, aunt and cousins for showing me what true affection and loving family is :)

 Moving on .. to my primary and secondary school days, I was really quite active back then. So much so, my dad had to look for me all over the primary school after school was over .. sigh .. what abundance of energy I had then. It was also a really happy time back then since as a child, you know only how to play, work and annoy adults :P In secondary school, I learned to socialize with schoolmates and found meaining in life through the work and extra-curricular activities that I was involved in. It was also during this time that I lost a very good friend .. to Kar Hey whereever you are, may you rest in peace. At the same time, it was also here that I got to know my brest friends until now ..Alex, Kelvin,  Simon and Kenneth. Imagine, we have been friends for 10+ years now. Time really passes so fast .. memories that will last a lifetime with best friends. Thanks for being by my side when I needed it :)

 College life .. ahh .. 4 + 2 years of hard studying led me to what I have achieved now. Though I can't boast of doing really BIG-ass stuff in life, I am contented with my achievements so far. I have helped a lot of people and I will continue to do so .. in my own way :) Now, some might be wondering why I put 4 + 2 years above .. well, the 4 years was for my Bachelor-hood days in KDU and Help. The 2 years is for my Master-hood days in Prime College (now known as SEGI). All in all, it was fun knowing new friends and working together with all of them. Wonderful years were those and I met countless good friends who supported each other during that time.  May all of you be blessed with happiness and know friends are there when you least expect it :)

Working life, well .. i would be considered fortunate to join and working with so many companies before .. Genting, Lelong, Silverlake, Entellium, Intel, Avanade, Petronas .. all of which exposed me to life's realities and how each fruit of labor pays off when you aim to achieve it .. my motto has always been "Aequam memento rebus in arduis servare mentem" .. remember to keep a calm mind in the time of difficulties. All the best to my former colleagues, now friends and to my current ones .. whom are always friend first :)

And to the final part .. Love life,  I was fortunate to meet the lovely girl whom I would share my life with for the rest of my life. She's the most patient, loving, and caring person I know. From her smile to her cute facial expressions to her warmth and affection, I will always be indebted to know her.  Knowing her and getting to see her everytime lights up the moments in my life regardless of whether it was an mood up or down day. My darling to you, I would say ... Nothing's gonna change my love for you :) 

And that wraps up my life to this very second. Will be going out to celebrate my life with the person I love the most in this world ..  (It may sound cheesy but it's da truth ...).
